CAME double gates - one side closes but will not open

Hi. I am new to this forum. We have an older model CAME ATI 167674 external automatic opening system for wing gates. Left side will close using the keyfob but will not open. Can open manually and it closes every time. The right side works fine. We are located in a remote area. Can anyone provide troubleshooting steps to fix what is causing the failure or determine what part needs replacing. Thanks in advance.
