Help needed sourcing manual release key - Chamberlain HC300
#1
Hi Everyone,

I've recently moved house. My new residence has a Chamberlain HC300 electric gate opener.

The gates are currently opening and closing perfectly. The thought has entered my mind that should there be a power or motor failure when the gates are closed, then I may well regret the fact that I never learned climbing as a skill Smile

Unfortunately the previous house owner cannot find the emergency release key. The key is described as hexagonal in the user manual that I found on the Internet. I've attached a picture of the top of the swing arm where the key is inserted.

I was hoping someone on the board could help in my finding a supplier who is able to source this vital accessory?

Many thanks!

An update on this.

Not really sure how Viagra could help as I never took up pole vaulting  Wink

I found a contact email for the manufacturer in the user manual that I downloaded off the Internet. Thiey passed the query on to their UK office who contacted me.

The person I worked with rung various UK suppliers who were unable to help as the particular model is end of life. However he managed to find a key in his box of bits and very kindly sent it to me FOC.

The gates are working perfectly but this gives me peace of mind.
