However, I have another question. The system has another pair of Yellow and Green wires with Green connected to 36 and Yellow to 37. I suspect that these go to the gate switch in the house. This switch has 3 positions : 1, neutral and 2. It appears to take precedence over the fob button switches and in 1 and 3 positions the fob button doesn’t work at all. Only in middle, ( neutral) position does the fob become active. Oh for a proper circuit diagram! Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for your message.
The terminals 36-37 are a normally closed input circuit, this means that another safety device has to be wired into here such as photocells or maybe a radio transmitter for some safety ribs that are on the gate.
I hope this provides some clarification to the terminals 36-37 are.
