ZM3E underground loop problem

Afternoon..

 We have had a strange problem, if a car is going towards the gate and we press to open, when the car gets to the underground loop (auto open) the gate shuts and will not open till the car reverse off the loop.. to get out we need to use the loop...how can I adjust this  ?
