Swing arm gate easily opens and closes to about 2m. It stops abruptly and the motor does not keep running. It occasionally opens fully but can hear it hesitate at the 2m mark. Have cleared all brush so it’s not an obstruction issue and gate Hinges are greased.
A very handy friend installed this for me but is now stuck 7km away on the other side of a pandemic closed border. I am coming in to this with very little gate or mechanical knowledge in general. What are the basics that could cause this that I should be checking? Thanks!
