Newbie- rigel4 12v output for keypad

Hi all, I’m trying to wire up a keypad to our rigel4 controller. All I can find is a 12v output specified for a gate lock. The Manual says it will power the lock for 3 secs. I doubt this will be sufficient to power the keypad. Can anyone pls assist in how I get 12v constant from the controller to power the keypad. Many thanks!
