Slugs in the electric gate control panel again.
#1
Does anyone have a solution for keeping slugs out of the control panels for electric gates. I have been to a customers today and this is the second time in six weeks he has had an infestation of slugs in his control panel for the gates. The first time he was lucky the control panel cleaned up and the gates operated fine, however this time he has not been so lucky and requires a new panel. Which could be quite expensive if the panel is being replaced every two months.
Thank you in advance if you have a solution.

Its not nice, but you could sprinkle a thin layer of salt on the enclosure base, they dont seem to like that..

I would get a sealed box from Home depot and reinstall the componets in the new box.
