Hi,
My gates have been installed for 2 years and although the engineer has been called out several times, often, whenever it rains, one of the pair of gates does not open. simply a short buzz, opens say 4 ins and then stops. the other gate opens ok.
Each time, I have to gain entry to the wires going into the arm and dry them with an electric hair drier!
I have tried to seal the area with silicon but I suspect water is entering via the swivel on the rotating arm.
I assume the arms are built to prevent water penetration to the wiring but can't seem to stop the water although I have sealed the areas with silicon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
