Wired up but not working
#1
Hello i have a Beninca brain and beninca bob motors with outer and inner limits with com all wired up ready to go.  But during auto set up it displays the error 6 code which says safety edge has intervened but i do not have one installed when i run the motors off the battery they work fine but just manually with direct power feed to the motors are working but not from brain maybe i got it all wrong
is there a way to force the motors to work from the brain and anyone got the process from switching on to learning the brain how it all works
just lets say i just installed a new system what is the process to get the system up and running many thanks in advance

Hi,

Is it the 230v or 24v control board you have?

Solved this one with a bit of help even though the edge protector is not fitted it needs looped out not only with a wire, but it must have a resistor in the wire to simulate a leading edge.  The solution i used was to connect a leading edge to the terminals and the system was happy and allowed test operation no fault present for leading edge hope this makes sense to all

Hi Charles,

A keypad can be placed in any proximity to a gate automation system. The only issue would be if that the low voltage power cables were in the same conduit as a 230v power cable, this would cause interference/ EMF
