Nice control boards really need an oview to progran and check the settings, Turn off the power for 1 minute, close the gate and then turn the power back on. give the gate an open command by pressing the 'open' button on the control board, ONLY PRESS THIS ONCE, if the gate opens then it's your closing safety that's at fault (photocells) the Bluebus led will flash an error code if there is one. Nice are terrible for diagnostics, they are primarily a home automation company unlike BFT,FAAC,SEA,DEA etc..... Came just sell to anyone and you get what you pay for.

The Error codes are available in the manual, these are posted online by NICE Automation and Easygates. Nice have to deal with a lot of stupid questions, some of the technical department are a little short when it comes to Joe Public, I have had a few run ins with them- correcting them on their own equipment. Unfortunately their board design is approached differently when compared to other Manufacturers, they assume you will use the bluebus photocells and then shove everything into the configurable stop input.
It might be an idea to go back to a basic configuration for TESTING ONLY, turn off the power, remove the bluebus and stop plugs, turn it back on, carry out a bluebus relearn (can't remember for sure but i think it's the stop and open button together for 5 seconds on the panel, it's in the manual. If the gate works, you have a failed safety, plug in the stop and carry out another relearn, this will determine which safety has failed. (the stop led should always be illuminated for a N/C circuit).
