Problems with links "shearing off"
#4
The Install of these motors is not very good ! The Junction boxes should NEVER be made in the ground box.

The Problem seems to be that the gate is moving beyond its limits and seems that on both boxes the side of the ground box has been dented and bent by the link arms. To me this either means the gates are moving past the maximum allowd travel of 110 degrees or the stops are not set correctly.

First thing i would do is check the boxes are fitted square ie check the levels in all directions that they dont run out.

Then check the stops to make sure the gate does not move more than 110 degrees and the stops engage in corect possition.

Then i would reprogram the circuit board so the motors hit the stop for half a second then cut out ie alter the run times.
