RBA2 PROBLEM

Good Day Evening Members, i have an issue I hope someone can help me with my Nice RBA2 control board. does not
Recognise the SMXI receiver, has anyone had that problem before, and how do you deal with it instead of installing a nice universal 
Receiver: Can the RBA2 be repaired, or should it be replaced

Thank you for your message.

If the SMXI receiver is not being recognised or learnt by the control panel it could be down to multiple things.

Upon plugging in the receiver did you conduct a bluebus search, hold open and stop set until L1 and L2 flash quickly. If you then press a button on the receiver does it light up or have any reaction?

Another theory could be the panel has broke or there is a short somewhere on it, in which case I have always found that replacing the board is better than having it repaired. Repairs are never really guaranteed and there is a very little market and companies who offer this service.

Lastly, the SMXI receiver could of failed potentially and there is something that has rendered it useless.
