BFT electric gate Er 35

We have a BFT electric gate which has gone wrong on many occasions. The gate opens a little and stops, so it needs to be opened manually. It then only closes if one uses the fob, but the gate stops short of the magnet plate.
Having opened the control box I noted error message 35 was showing. My manual does not list Er 35. Can someone give me an indication of what the problem is.
