FAAC S450H Oil Leaks & Filling
#1
Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and seeking help regarding a pair of the above rams purchased new by me about 18 months ago. From day 1 they have leaked oil and whilst they are still working fine I believe that due to the loss of oil the rams should be topped up. I don't believe the leakage warrants having them repaired just at the moment. My question is how do I top up the oil. I already have the oil recommended by FAAC and I am familiar with the bleed screw half way along the rams where the long rods fasten the aluminium outer cover over the piston. Is this where they are filled and if so by how much oil?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning. Any info on this yet? I also have the S450, one of them also leaks sometimes but now I have the problem that the right wing  does not close with the force it had before, maybe because of a lack of oil?

greetings
