Any ideas?
I have had my BFT sub units and gates installed a few years now and they appear to have developed a worsening problem over time in that the gates now do not fully open and do not fully close automatically and need to be pushed the final 12 inches or so by hand to close them tight and/or open them wide enough to get the car mirror through.
Clearly this is a pain and also poses a security issue as they can be pushed open freely enough to get pedestrian access.
They have been installed about 8 years and have never been serviced as have only had light domestic use (poor excuse...!).
Just wondered if this is a simple oil top up issue or something more serious?
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated
Cheers
