your web site says (on page http://www.easygates.co.uk/24v-gate-opener.asp ) that gate stops are no longer needed for use with Liftmaster swing gate openers... but the user manual for my new 24V LYN400 clearly states the warranty is invalid if fixed gate stops are not fitted. Which is right, please, when using a CB24 controller? If gate stops are not being used for a pair of gates for a 3.8m opening, is a magnetic lock (such as the ES500, say) essential or merely advised?
gate stops no longer needed?
