Mindy A400 remote reciever issue

Hi everyone and anyone i have a Mindy A400 all of a sudden it does not recognize the remote reciever if i take it off the board when i reinsert it the gate would open or close if i insert it on the board and use the remote nothing happen has anyone face that issue if so is there a solution or is my bord bad or has dry solder joints i need help anyone help please

Hi,

From the sounds of this problem, it may be that your plug in receiver may have a problem. If you plug the receiver in and all the remotes stop working which were previously working this is usually a sign. When pressing the button on the receiver is there any LEDs that pop up? Or when you press the remote button, does an LED light up on the receiver? I know the A400 is a relatively old control panel which uses the light grey SMXI plug in receiver, these are now discontinued and the new receiver is the OXIBD.

Just in case, I would swap a battery out for a new one in one of the remotes just in case all the batteries in the remotes have depleted which I believe the chances of this would be slim.
