Advice on photocells for BFT gates
#1
Hi All

My swing gates open using BFT Oro system. Today they will not close as I believe the photocells are broken. I tried replacing the battery on the one that’s not connected to the control unit but no change.

Having looked online I believe the photocells are BFT 2241 also referred to as SEAV 2241. Available for about £100 for the pair.

Can I just swap them out without needing to do anything at the control unit?

Thanks

Steve

You would just need to swap these over. Ensuring your power for the RX is going to the correct terminals and ensuring you wire the cells normally closed and common going back to the safety input on the control panel.
