Has anyone come across the following situation ?
I have an AC4R and the F2 fuse blew on the RG1R DL controller due to a slug crawling inside.
I have replaced the fuse and reset, but since then, despite resetting the gate several times, it always stops after a meter or so when closing. Then again a meter or so later etc when you press the button again on the remote (it continues to try to close rather than revert to opening).
Opening is usually fine.
As the gate and rail was old – I have replaced the rails and wheels.
I have also replaced the RG1R DL controller.
The same problem is still apparent and the gate always stops after a meter or so. Sometimes I get the 5 red lights flashing and sometimes there are 3.
I have also replaced the photo cells and they seem to operate correctly.
I have factory reset several times and it follows the correct process of resetting the gate travel (open & close), then is fine on opening but stops on closing.
Is there anything else on the AC4R that could have failed when the slug shorted the RG1R DL board.
I can’t find an in depth manual on the internet to help troubleshoot and am getting really frustrated I cannot fix the issue.
