Wiring relay to CB24
#1
Hi everyone,

I have some SCS300K 24v openers, and am looking at getting the following:

http://www.lightwaverf.co.uk/LightwaveRF...LW821.html

How would I go about wiring this up to the CB24 board? I assume it would be wired a similar way to a key switch etc?

The wiring instructions for it can be found here:

http://www.lightwaverf.co.uk/files/downl...0Relay.pdf

Thanks!

What are you trying to do with this device. Do you want it to open and hold open your gates or just to control gates. Tjis is not an ideal solution as this is a latching reciever ie it switches on then stays switched on untill triggered again or timmer is set so if used to control the Cb24 the gates would open and hold open untill you trigger the device again.

Hi Mark,

I was planning on using it just like a remote e.g one press to open and one press to close. It says it can be used to on garage doors, so I assumed it could also be used with gates?

Cheers

If it is a voltage free output from the unit the wire it accross the

Open and common connectors on right hand side for the board and that will trigger the gate every time those contacts are switched.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for that.

So it's not possible to use it to actually control open, close and stop commands separately? You'd only be able to use it essentially as Single Button Control?

Thanks
Matt
