Hi
Bought a house with the rigel 5 and lux rams, the previous owner didnt want to use them so they were disconnected.
Ive connected them up and replaced a fuse in the controller, initial tests opened and closed the gates fine but after half dozen goes one gate opens 10% and the other 50%.
I wondered if the fact that at close and open there is hard stops (wood blocks) thats the motors in the rams kept pushing against for a couple seconds before cut out. ( I thought this would be ok as they would go to a solid point then cut out)
Ive tried looking through the menu on the contorller (downloaded manual) and cant see much that will help.
Only thing I can think next is to remove the ram and apply 240V direct to it and see if that moves it the length of the action.
Im in plymouth devon - if there are any installers/fitters down here let me know.
