Excessive play in BFT sub motor
#1
Hi,

I have a BFT SUB motor that gives about 400mm of play at the edge of the gate when stopped, this is resulting in it not fully closing all of the time. I have tried lifting it and moving it around 1 tooth on the spiggot but then it does not open fully so guess it is positioned correctly. Any ideas??

Thanks,

Steve.

I would sugest that if you have this much play in the motor then the seals in the hydraulic jack unit have gone.

Thanks, does that mean a new motor?
