Photocells - crafty - 16-08-2009

Hi, just connecting a CB11 with the 1 set of cells supplied in the kit.
I am getting red flashing leds and the gate motors are turning but only one way?
I have the cells sat about 3 ft from the entrance (so if car is exiting drive and sat waiting, gates will stay open) and opposite each other.
The only other things currently connected are aerial / flashing beacon.
Can anyone advise on what my dipswitches should be set on and what i am doing wrong, the fault seems to be coming from the photocells is there anyway to check these ?
I have used CAT5 cable for the cells.
Or am i just not ding the set up procedure correctly ?

Any help much appreciated.

Regards,
Grant

Hi, you should have your photocells connected to the OP/CL and COM. you need to turn the power off, put a jumper over "learn failsafe photocells" then power the board back up and remove the jumper.
this should learn your photocell configuration.

you then need to learn the gate setup using L1.

See attached file for more information
