User manual automatic gate - MH848 - 08-08-2011

Hi, I hope someone might be able to help me - I've tried to find a user guide or download a manual for the electric sliding gate opener for a friend (who lives in france) but with no luck. The model is around 12 years old and the hardware shop Lepeyre are unwilling to help without an invoice..which is long lost.
I am no expert but there are 8 programme icons in a circle which are selected by 3 buttons 'P' '+' '-' (I've tried to attach a photo but no success there ..) This is probably a standard control panel and would make perfect sense if accompanied by a simple user manual...any ideas?

Thanks in advance

As this model still appears to have problems despite trying to fix it several times, I've decided to replace it. Can anyone recommend a decent sliding gate automatic opener - I am looking at buying the DEIMOS BT 24 volt 'kit' so is this the best choice for the money?
FAAC seems more expensive for an equivalent model and is made in Italy..not sure myself.

Thanks, Mark

Hi, I just had a quick look at your website and the Sliding gate 'Mover 5' might make a suitable replacement as the gate is <500Kgs. Could you explain the (Dis)advantages of the 230 V version Versus the 24V?
Also, cost is important and the unit would need to be shipped to France
Thanks, Mark
