BFT Altair-P "Phot" message. How to bypass/Test? - AdamC - 16-07-2025
I would really appreciate some guidance on this please.
I have the "Phot" message displayed and the gate wont open. It will close when pressing the fob for the first time after a power reset.
Im assuming there is something wrong with the sensors. Usually there is a clicking when i cross the sensors but thats not happening anymore.
Ive opened it up and cleaned it, checked wires etc. Ive not done a circuite test yet.
My question is firstly how do i bypass the Photocell/Sensors so i can open/close gate? I can see in the manual terminals 17-19 are the photocells but i dont know if i should bridge something or take off a terminal to override?
Secondly how would you recommend i go about troubleshooting/testing the root cause?
