BFT Deimos issue - erickavo - 12-06-2025 Hi All, I've got a BFT Deimos 600 sliding gate opener. The gate wouldn't open and noticed that there was no power to my access keypad either. Opened the controller box and found that one of the fuses has blown which seems to distribute the 24v to the safety devices. There are two fuses on the board. A 1.25amp and a 800ma. It is the 1.25amp that is blowing. I replaced the fuse and the 24v was there again, until I tried to open the gate and it opened but the fuse blew immediately. The gate continued to open fully but was then stuck open as the 24v for the safety devices was gone. I have the gate open and fuses replaced and the LCD display is SLo (Leaf open) but as soon as I give a command to the gate, the fuse pops and the LCD displays PHCL (Closing photocell). I assume this message appears as the 24v has dropped to the photocell and the controller assumes it is not in the correct state. Any ideas what to do next? I bridged out the normally closed contacts for the photocell at the controller, ran the gate and got an error code ER04, which relates to the photocell too. I'm at a bit of a loss here and would appreciate any help. Thanks |
