MC800 NOT OPENING FOR WHITELISTED PLATES AFTER FACTORY RESET - Wenzo - 09-05-2025 I factory reset my MC 800 box but my Hikvision cameras for plate settings and whitelisted plate numbers were left untouched but now after doing the learning again and setting it up when a car approaches. It no longer opens. Please help RE: MC800 NOT OPENING FOR WHITELISTED PLATES AFTER FACTORY RESET - benbrooks - 09-05-2025 Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. You have mentioned the gates do not open by use of the HikVision Cameras, do they open for any other device such as a remote control? When the fault occurs, on the panel you have a LED behind the BLUEBUS terminal. How many times does this LED flash before the pause. Hopefully this will give us a better indication of the fault at play. Many thanks Ben RE: MC800 NOT OPENING FOR WHITELISTED PLATES AFTER FACTORY RESET - Wenzo - 09-05-2025 It's on normal green led blinking and red led on 12 which is stop is on. My cable from hikvision cameras on the gate is connected to Open (14) and COM (4) RE: MC800 NOT OPENING FOR WHITELISTED PLATES AFTER FACTORY RESET - Wenzo - 09-05-2025 Also yes I have not yet programmed the remote but gate opens at the press of OPEN or CLOSE buttons on the control box itself only it doesn't open anymore when a car approaches RE: MC800 NOT OPENING FOR WHITELISTED PLATES AFTER FACTORY RESET - benbrooks - 27-05-2025 (09-05-2025, 03:17 PM)Wenzo Wrote: Also yes I have not yet programmed the remote but gate opens at the press of OPEN or CLOSE buttons on the control box itself only it doesn't open anymore when a car approaches Hi, Thank you for your message. The HikVision camera has got to have cables running from it too the Nice control board. This is something called a relay contact so the camera has the ability to to tell the control board to open. I would meter across these relay contacts and ensure when a whitelisted car pulls up that the relay contacts are showing continuity (closed circuit). If they are brilliant, the camera is working as intended but this could mean that there is a issue with the cabling so I would suggest running a fly lead on new cable from the camera to the control panel. If the relay is not switching then there must be an issue with the camera's whitelist, or there is a sticky relay or faulty component on the camera. If you short across terminals 14 and 4, if the gate opens this shows that the panel is working correctly. Many thanksĀ Ben |
