Transformer 1538 - Pat Tynan - 30-05-2009

Am getting ready for the installation on the sub 300's with wired intercom and thought of putting the 1538 unit into the CB11 housing and find that there is not enough room and wonder; (A) should I put the lot into a larger waterproof box or;
(B) since the 1538 is DIN rail mounting, should I get a weatherproof box to put it in or
© should I mount it inside
i.e., what is normal.

Hi Pat,

The best option would be to put it all in a larger waterproof box, as it is tidyer and easier to wire. We supply a larger waterproof box which has a some din rail at the bottom which would be ideal for your situation.

Thanks,
