Gibidi gates confusing behaviour - robguest69 - 16-09-2021 Hello I hope someone can help me with an issue I'm having with my Gibidi gates. The gates are the T291 Double Hydraulic Ram System (fast) with the F4 board. I installed them about 9 months ago and they have been working perfectly until about 2 months ago. By working perfectly, this is what I mean: When I press the controller (keyfob), the left gate opens slightly before the right one (when viewed from inside the driveway).  After being fully open for ~30 seconds they both close again (right slightly before left). If I press the controller when the gates are open, they stay open until I press the button again, at which point they close (right slightly before left). However, for the past 2 months if I press the controller once when they are closed, they both open, wait for 30 seconds, and then close as normal.  However, if I have pressed the controller to keep the gates open, when I then try to close them, approximately 50% of the time only the right gate closes, the left gate stays open. To get the gates to close when this happens, once the right gate has closed fully, if I press the controller again that gate opens (and the motor runs to open the left gate - although it's already open), and then after 30 seconds both close. Having taken advice on this I have switched over the capacitors between the left and right gates, and separately switched the actuator arms.  The problem still exists though, and always on the left gate. There is a signal getting to the left gate arm when I try and close them as I can hear the motor 'pulse' on for <0.5s, but then nothing. I’m struggling to understand what is happening here as the gate arm clearly works and there is only ever an issue when I try and close the gates when they have been fixed open, and the problem is intermittent.  There is nothing obstructing the left gate in any way, and when it is 'stuck open', opening the gates so they close automatically after 30s always results in the left gate shutting - no manual intervention is needed.    Has anyone heard of this issue before, or can anyone suggest anything I can do to diagnose it / fix it?   Many thanks,   Rob
