Rigel 6 - doors do not stay open - Poweroftaxi - 04-04-2021

I have a Rigel 6 system and someone was fiddling with it and now the gates do not stay open as they did before- all the day/hour timer settings are set but after opening the gates, they close when you drive through them rather than staying open. Sure it’s just a simple fix but what setting should it be on to sort this out- is it to do with automatic residential or something else.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I hope you are well. Do you want the gates to stay open until they are sent a command to close? Or do you want the gates to stay open for a specific amount of time before automatically closing?

If you would like to set automatic closure this is set in the parameters section of the manual - 'tcA' (automatic closing time).

If the gates are closing as soon as you drive past them, check where your photocells are being wired into. If the photocells on the side of the property you are driving towards are into the close terminals this will reverse the gate. Also, check you have not set the tcA to a very small amount of time.

You will be able to find this information in the Rigel6 manual linked below.
