FAAC 455D won't operate - Henliston - 15-08-2020
Hi All,
I have just fitted a FAAC 415L being controlled by a 455D control unit. The control unit is using a RP 868 SLH. I have no safety devices connected to the system. When power (240v) is applied I get the LED FSWOP and FSWCL lit (which is what I expected as I have jumper leads between pin 19 and 12 / 13; as per wiring diagram Fig 7 in manual).
I have run through the TL Complete Learning process and the gate operates perfectly during the learning cycle open-stop-close sequence. I press button F to save / exit the learning mode.
However I get no reaction to pressing the remote control when not in learning mode? The receiver LED flashes when I press the button and I get the Op_A LED flashing when I press the button? I do not get the stop LED flashing at any point.
I have done some experimenting and if I jumper pins 14 to 11 (STP) then the gate will open and stop as per expected. However, when the gate is closing pressing the remote control button to stop the gate goes straight into open? Also when opening the gate does not remember the TL 'complete' sequence?
Have I missed jumper lead during the installation or am I doing something wrong on the setup sequence.
Any guidance would be appreciated
