BFT Eli 250 24V motor running, no movement. - Bjorn - 19-02-2020

Hi all.

These and have been brilliant but for some reason one side has jammed partially open.

The motor runs constantly (as the gate never activates the limit switch) and the gate moves easily when I use the release key to manually open and close the gate. This motor has always been really quiet and smooth when compared to the other side.

I’m guessing some kind of gear has stripped/failed and was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.  If there’s nothing wrong with the motor I’d ideally just like to replace the component rather than whole motor/housing as I see some spares are available.

Thanks in advance.

Bjorn

Hi Bjorn,

I am having exactly the same issue as you described.
What ended up being the solution for you?

Thanks!
