stabalising gates - ian777 - 12-09-2017

Hi everyone
I have recently installed solar powered electric gates and they work and I am really happy with now that I can open the gates from my van.
The only slight problem is that they are not shutting tightly together, they are have some play and now that the autumn is here I am a bit worried that the wind will damage them more easily than if they were closing together firmly.
The gates are wooden, about 11 foot wide and six foot high.
Any help would be most welcome - Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian,

With wooden gates, you will always have play. The only way to properly secure this would be to fit an electric lock or maglock to hold the gates together. Take a look at some of the locks available on this website.

If you have any questions let me know.
