Liftmaster SCS300K - stop/go - mtuk100 - 17-04-2017

HI all,

I have a pair of Liftmaster SCS300K arms containing drive mechanism to open my gates. Recently, one of the arms started to judder and the shaft turns a bit, stops and then turns a bit more, stops and so on, ie: no continuous screw. As a result the gate does not fully open or close. Its as if the cog teeth in the arm mechanism were not fully engaged or the release mechanism comes on and off. Have opened up and cogs all look fine (pic of release shaft attached) but has not stopped opening completely. Motor runs fine if cogs not engaged. Appreciate any advice.

hi
i think you have make sure that the lead screw and that smal trolley are working fine . usually the nut in trolley after years got big clearance .
