There are several reasons why this can happen.
If safety edges are fitted, the edge may be hitting the closing post, if you have an edge and you have tco4 fitted battery may be almost dead, or your edge may be damaged.

If the gate has slowdown on it and it say starts its slow down at say 2 foot away from being fully closed, there may be damage to bearings, track, drive rack or if it runs on a rail there may be damage there,
try increasing the close torque first, check above, if it still fails and there is a rundown distance set , decrease the distance to half and see if that works.

Many thanks. No issue with safety edges or batteries. Will try increasing the torque

Bft gate opener acting Crazy. It opens and 2 second later starts closing on it own. It mostly happens early in the morning or late at night. It got much worst after technicians serviced with changing the oil.

Hi,

thanks for the email,

this issue here sounds to be either an issue with the location of the limit switches for the motor and or a force reversal of the motor, i would guess that it would be the latter. have you tried to relearn the limits on the motor or increase the force on the motor?

Kind Regards,

Joe
