BFT Virgo Motor - glyn - 18-05-2013

Hi All

I hope someone can point me in the right direction, i have just installed BFT Virgo gate motors, the motors are mounted on the back of the pllars and i have the gates opening out, it is all wired i have programed the remotes etc and put in a 10sec delay on closing the problem is you press the remote the gates close and 10 sec later they open and stay open (until you press the remote again and the same happens) "they are working in reverse" instructions very poor and i am pulling my hair out, can anybody point me in the right direction,

Cheers

Glyn

As you are using the system in reverse to how it was designed ie opening outwards you need to either programme the motor backwards or reverse the wires. As the BFT Virgo is not one of the items we support please speak to BFT Technical dept for clarification on what is wrong contact BFT Stockport on 0161 456 0456

Hi Mate,
The phases on the motors are the wrong way round. You have 3 wires for each motor, the middle of each one is your common, all you need to do is switch the phases round.

Hope this helps
