The gear turned a bit more causes the rack no longer in contact with gear - jasoncen - 03-01-2012

Hi there,

My GiBiDi sliding door malfunctioned today. When I opened the gate, the gear turned a bit more than usual, and so the rack is no longer in contact with the motor gear. Now the door will not close.

I got the following info from the gear motor box for your information:

Type: PASS4PLUS
Code: 92104
SN: P4P000000275

I guess the open and closing limit of the sliding door should be adjustable. But after I moved in this property the former owner lost the operation manual. Could someone please tell me how to do that? I googled internet but didn't find the manual. It will be greatly appreciated if someone could send me a copy of the operation manual.

Many thanks!

Jason

You can find manual here Gibidi

On page 7 you can see magnetic limit switches. Try to adjust them (make sure that you have isolated power before!)

Many thanks! I found the magnetic limit switches and I will try to adjust following the manual.
