Hi,

Anyone know is there a factory reset ability on the MC800 ?

The manual has instructions to reset memory settings to default by pressing the start and stop buttons simultaneously but this is not doing anything.

When I power up my MC800 I get the BlueBus flashing green but every 4 seconds approximately it also flashes red. Also L1 to L8 are all flashing red.
The motor leds M1 and M2 are both flashing green.

I disconnected the two grey block connectors leaving just the motors connected to the unit but that makes no difference, still all the flashing leds!

Anyone seen similar behavior?

Cheers

Hi,

A BLUEBUS flashing light 4X indicates, there is an intervention of the STOP input. Do you have anything wired into the STOP input like safety edges?
To do a complete reset you must press and hold down OPEN and CLOSE simultaneously for around 5-10 seconds. However, this will not rectify your issue, if it is a safety issue.

Hi,

When I disconnect everything and just have the motors connected to the unit I still have the same issue!

Hi Brendan,

now you only have the motors connected you can perform a factory reset by holding down Open & Close simultaneously for around 5/10 seconds.
everything will flash and go out when the reset is complete.
then do a Blue Bus search and a position search with just the Motors connected.

Kind Regards
Matt
Unfortunately no joy, everything disconnected, and no reaction from the unit on the reset.
