Hi all,

I wonder if someone can offer some advice, I have BFT motorised sliding gate and occasionally it will not slide across all the way to open and gets stuck.  I have to press the remote again to slide it back etc

We do have a gravel drive and I have made sure the track is clear of debris, my gut feeling is that the sensors are causing the gate to stop and not debris on the track but i am not 100% sure.

I have wiped the black sensors on the gate posts but that didnt seem to have any effect.

I've only had the setup around a year and i am pretty sure its out of warranty.

thanks in advance

steve
Hi Steve,

Have you tried increasing the force of the motor?

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply, that might work.

How would I go about doing that?

thanks

steve
Its a BFT Ultra by the way.
Turn out I got a "Safe Edge" sensor, and likley the batteries are low and causing issues with gate.

I've changed the batteries so will see if that reduces the intermittency of the issue!
Let me know the outcome.

Regards.
