Hi all

I have a pair of  Nice swing gates which were installed by the previous owner of my house they are around 2 years old. I’ve had on off issues with the front set of photocells(F210 I believe) losing their connection and preventing the gates from closing. Randomly this will just stop and the gates will function again.

I’ve now moved the slave sensor as when I put a laser level between them the two photocells were way out of alignment and on Friday night I had the best connection between them so far a nice show flash on the master photocell. By Sunday the master photocell had a steady light and the gates won’t close again.

I’ve popped the covers but as I cleaned them on Saturday I can’t see any issues with bugs/debris. Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on what the issue may be. It seems too soon to replace them, or can I just remove these from the set up as where I live there is minimal risk from these sensors not being in place and the motors have a protection setting too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Stu,

Thanks for the email,

if the cells have been out of commission for a long period of time you may need to execute a Bluebus search to re-enable them if the photocells are the F210B's. please press and hold Open and Stop/set until L1 and L2 flash quickly and them release.

if this is not resolved please give us a call on 01384569942 opt 2.
