Full Version: Replacement Q60A board?

Hi, the house we moved into a couple of months ago has double gates controlled by the board above. The gates worked initially when we moved in, but given the traffic in/out of the drive, we just left the gates open. Since then the board has become faulty and beyond repair (within a reasonable cost anyway).

After a bit of searching it looks like there's a newer version of board, also a Q60A.

Is the new board a like-for-like replacement? Can I just swap-out all the existing connections? If not, what are the differences and can you advise/recommend solutions?

I've attached a couple of pics of the current/new boards for reference. Apologies if I've not included enough info - please let me know if you need more detail.

Thanks in advance
Andy

Hi,

We ourselves don't stock Proteco parts so our knowledge is limited. But from a quick internet scan, i can see that the control board you have attached is the replacement. The terminals may be slightly different so you may need to rewire and do some cable management when retrofitting the new board.

Sam.
