Hi,

I have a Q80A controller for a set of My Shark automated gates.

The Q80A controller is displaying "St" all the time (start operating) even though no remote fobs are being pressed and all external switches (e.g. pedestrian opening) have been disconnected.

I can't seem to find any way to override the error or reset the board. Even with the actual motors disconnected, the board continues to display "St".....

Any information on what to look for or ways to circumnavigate this error gratefully received!

Thanks.

Kev.

Hi,

"ST" means that the control panel is receiving a continuous START command,  Make sure that all START controls connect are properly working and correctly wired (N.O. contact). Whatever you have wired into your Start/open command make sure there isnt a short on the cables or on the accessory. I would take the board back to basics and take out all accessories especially anything giving the gate a open command then reintroduce them one by one to see which accessory/cable is causing the issue.
