Hi All, l am an engineer and am new to the BfT range. I usually only maintain CAME. However a Google client has asked for help on this issue and so l have taken a look. The BFT Sub R motor has been replaced with new as old was not working. The gates close, but one leaf looses closing pressure at the closing stage. Once the motor turns off, you can push the gate back by about a foot with no resistance! The previous installer had installed a FAAC 406 control board. Looking around this is a common issue, but l cannot find an answer! Suggestions to previous fixes?

Hi,

It could be an issue with the hydraulic fluid not being topped up. Also, there may be wear in the collar assembly. Have you any pictures of the installation?

You can send us a picture of the installation to technical@easygates.co.uk

Kindest Regards,

Sam.

Hi Sam,

The oil is full and l was wondering if l need to reset the board limits. In CAME world we call this resync Autoset. I am back again on Fri to try and resolve. This is so infuriating!
Any other pointers your could offer would be greatly appreciated. ?
