Can you please advise on the problem I have with my gates (MHouseKit WS2S) following a mains  power failure. Gate mechanism some 10 years old, never any problems before

1. None of the remote controls will operate the unit, batts OK in all
Note - The manoeuvre does not start and the flashing light is off, book says -  check command is received, I hear a relay click but LED on OPEN (D) does not light up - LED on ECsbus gives one long flash then returns to flashing every second
2. There are no problems with power to the control unit
3. LED ECSbus (A) is flashing once per second - book says this means all is OK
4. LED STOP (B) is on - book says this means all is OK
5. LED OPEN © is off - book says all is OK
6. LED P1 (D) is Off - everything OK
7. LED P2 (E) is Off - everything OK - see later *******
8. LED P3 (F) is On - everything OK

Note - when first examined after restoration of power LED P2 (E) was flashing once per second - book says The learning phase has not been carried or there are errors in the memory data, book says some faulty devices may be present and redo "learning other devices".
Redid learning other devices and after the operation the LED P2 remained off.
Photocell problem, memory corrupt, circuit board failure????????
Any help appreciated
Hi,

Please try factory resetting the control board, but pressing and holding P2 and P3 for around 10 seconds.

Once this is done, disconnect all accessories until it is just the motors wired in.

Then relearn the ECSBUS, press and hold P2 for 2-3 seconds.

Once that is done, manually release the gates into the halfway position and relearn the limits. (press and hold p3 until the gates being to move)

Hope this helps.

Hi SamA,
Thanks for all the info, I had the CL2SK tested and the main microprocessor was damaged, unfortunately not repairable as the microprocessor is coded to the board.
So a new circuit board is on its way.
A further question ------------
Is it just a transformer in the base of the unit to feed the electronics etc. or it it a power supply, i.e. with rectifiers/ capacitors etc. is there a chance that any of this or indeed the motors could also have been damaged by the surge (note neither of the fuses blew), I would not want to install the new card and for that to get damaged.
Cheers
