Evening all

Im not a gate installer but Ive been asked to fix our gates at work.
basically last week one of our guys tried to open our electric gates while they were locked Sad  since that the gates wont open.
when i came in for my shift i was asked to have a look (Im the maintenance engineer) went to look and the gates seemed to be closing when we pressed the open button???? switched the polarity of the motors and now open on autoset but dont close???? opened the box up and its a BFT Rigel 6 control board and the display shows PHCL  all the time which i believe is a photocell problem. I tried to link the photocells out but just got STOP on the display.
We have been quoted £8000 to repair the system so obviously my boss is keen for me to repair it.
Im not at work right now so cant check anything but if you guys can recommend voltages to check I will have a go tomoz.

any help much appreciated

Evening.
Which terminals did you use to link out the photocells? I only ask. As you can configure the safety inputs. If you are seeing STOP on the display. It as if a e stop button has been pressed in or a wire has fallen out. Stop is terminal 71 and common is terminal 70.
