Hi all. New user here and do home you can help. I am not great with electrics but can do very basics, so bear with me.

I have a Faac entry and separate exit gate system. The exit gate is inoperative. Popped the motor lid and power all good, and all lights that should be lit are according to trouble shooting guide. Remote is being picked up by motor box. System is FAAC C720 24 V DC 109320

The photocell sensors on the working entry gate have solid lights showing when nothing breaking the beam. When looking at the cells on the exit gate which isn’t working they are flashing when nothing breaking the beam.

To me it suggests the ‘box’ is being told by the sensors that there is something in the way and stopping operation. Complete set up is 12 years old. I also have an induction loop on this gate.

My question is does is sound like a sensor has gone bad ? Replacement of unscrewing from wall and in/rewrite a couple of cables is just within my limits.

Hope I have explained well enough.
Any thoughts out there ?
