Hi all,

I am a newbie to this forum but desperate for help so apologies for jumping right in.

I had recently replaced the nice morx attached to my nice robus since the previous one was consumed by an ant's nest. The gate, remotes, keypads worked fine for about two tweeks.

Now, out if the blue, the gate won't move anymore.

I went through the manual and associated troubleshooting and cannot figure this out. Bluebus flashes like it's supposed to, stop led is on, and when I enter the code I hear the relay clicking and see the associated LED light up.

The only thing I see which is not like it is supposed to be is that L1 keeps flashing. According to the manual this indicates programming mode, but should end after 10 seconds. It doesn't however :-(.

Any tips?

Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi All

I found the problem, one of the sensors had sand accumulated in them so that they were shorted. Just cleaning them out solved the issue!
Thats great news!
HI   I have some NICE electric gates.    The gates started opening before Christmas on there own.    In the end of I switched them off because I had people coming to stay.
I have switched them back on and gone through the set up -  The gates open and close in learning mode but they do not come out of learning mode   L3 and L4 constantly flash.   I am wandering if I have the same issue as above.     Would the system not come out of learning mode if the photocells was fault.     P.S  They constantly flash at the minute.
Hi,

Firstly, I would check the BlueBus LED on the control board as this is a diagnostic LED. If you get the fault to happen and check this LED this would be a good place to start as it will flash multiple times then pause, the amount of times it flashes depends on the fault which can be referred to in the manual.

If this is flashing once per second however, this is basically saying there is no issue. If that is the case, it may be worth disconnecting the photocells/accessories you have wired into the control board and try setting the gates up again, just so you can rule out whether it is the photocell causing the fault. Please note, when you remove/connect accessories from the STOP and BLUEBUS terminals, a BlueBus search would have to be done. To do this, press and hold STOP/SET and OPEN for around 3 seconds, L1 and L2 should start flashing quicker then switch to L3 and L4 flashing.

Many Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback.    Everything seems normal     It just never exits learning mode.  L3 and L4.
What status should the unit be in to open the gates using a remote control?
Hi,

In normal operation,

1. The STOP led should be lit up red
2. One of the ENC Led's should be lit up green
3. The Bluebus Led should be flashing green once per second
4. In some cases depending whether you have any of the settings enabled like auto closing for example, you may see some of the leds from L1 to L8 being lit up constantly. (So for example, if auto closing was on, L1 would be lit up)

The next thing I would look at, is the dipswitch settings. Depending on what motors you have will depend which dipswitch needs to be on/off. If you can find out which motor you are using, you can reference this in the manual which dipswitch needs to be on. Or you can let me know and I can have a look for you.

Many Thanks.

Hi guys, i looked for ansver in all over net but cant find a thing :/

My robus 600 is stop working 3 days ago, when i opened the top i saw on motherboard L1 and L8 flashing constantly.
Bluebus not flashing just nothing not a light on it.
I tryed to reset but nothing happened. Pressed OPEN and STOP/SET buttons for 3-5 secs many times but L1 and L8 continues flashin not L1 and L2 or any else. Cut out power many times but nothin.
Checked all fuses, nothing.
Called a guy in service, he told me maybe there is a problem on pohotocells.
I looked about L1 and L8 same time flashing trouble but cant find anything, any ideas????
