Hello!

We've only recently moved into an old house, which had electric gates installed. The gates just stopped working the other morning, no longer opening or closing.

I've done a full fuse sweep, and found there's a small 1a glass fuse blowing on the logic board of the control unit. See attached photo for the fuse that's blowing.

I've replaced it twice (same type as was already installed), but upon clicking the open button on my keys, that fuse immediately blows again.

Is that likely a sign of a blown control board, or something more involved?

Cheers!
Mark
Hiya. To quickly check your board. Remove all wiring between terminals 9 - 19. Then link out terminals 11, 12, 13, 14. Just daisy chain the wires together. Your are just linking out the stop and safety inputs. Give the gate an open command. If the fuse blows. Assuming you do mean the 800Ma fuse. The board may have shot it.

hi

i think its worth to unscrew pcb mainboard and check how its look from behind , sometimes you can have some bugs sticked to it .
