Hi my gates stopped opening. Error code is n1 motor problem (Q60A/R)control unit.checked fuses and capacitor where can I look from here.thanks in advance

you can check engine rezistance or even powered engine up by 230v bypassing control board .

hi bypassed main board and powered up no movement from motor . Am I looking at replacing the motor.

did you check motor rezistance ?
did the motor make any noice when was powered up . ?

Hi checked resistance all ok ,when I press the fob the relay clicks and the motor turns for a second and cuts out error code n1 appears

what happened when you bypassed control board ?

to start only motor direct from 220 power source you have use capacitor too ,did you ?
Hi. This time I did use capacitor the motor turned fine smooth no effort to open gate. Hope this sheads some light

if motor turned in both diretions we know its fine.

try opening your gate manualy by your hands there could by some mechanical problem with motor bracket or gate
