This is an intermittent fault - when I close the door, sometimes as I am driving away I can see it has started opening again. I have checked that the photosensors sensors are clear when the door is open and closed. Anyone have any ideas what can cause this? It is a Motorlift 850.

There are a few possible causes,
1, have you checked when the door is released the door is free to move up and down?
2, i would try taking the cover of the motor and seeing if the main white cog is not worn.
3, it could possibly be a logic board fault, but first i would rule out the first two.
